Welcome to the City of Oviedo - Online Building Permits
This service enables citizens and contractors to complete the most common steps in the building permit process online including, submit application, upload contractor information, pay fees, check permit status, schedule inspections and check inspection status. Note: Sub-permits should be emailed directly to email@example.com. Make a selection from the menu bar on the left to conduct the following:
Select Submit Application to create a new application, enter all information including address, project valuation, contractor information and permit type. All permit applications require Certificate of General Liability with City of Oviedo as the certificate holder, Workers Compensation Insurance, and Contractor's License – for every submittal.
Select Permit to view information about a specific permit's status, fees and inspections.
Select Schedule/Cancel Inspections to request or cancel inspections. This option requires a PIN for processing which can be found on the permit application receipt that is provided at permit issuance.
Select Application Fees to pay fees. The City accepts Visa, Mastercard, and e-checks. American Express cards cannot be processed through this system. Payments greater than $25,000 can only be submitted by check. Please submit a physical check to the City of Oviedo attention Building Department.
